About the Role:

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced part-time Dispense Technician to join our Cardiff Chemart Team. The candidate we are seeking will be a self-starter, capable of delivering exceptional customer service and have a desire to be part of a winning team. The successful candidate must be adaptable to a busy dispensary environment, be able to prioritise work, support the Pharmacist and have a positive approach to work. 


The part-time hours on offer are 6.5 at this stage required on Saturday, 9.00am to 4.00pm.


The main responsibilities will be:

  • Assist the Pharmacist in the dispensary to process prescriptions
  • Assist in the reconciliation of prescriptions in preparation for government claims
  • Maintenance of medication management packing systems (Webster packing)
  • Maintain dispensary stock levels and presentation
  • Receipt, unpack and check off dispensary orders
  • Assist with Front of Shop sales, when require

Valued skills and attributes:

  • Ability to work effectively within a team and to follow directions
  • Have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service
  • Have proficient computer literacy and accurate data entry skills
  • NDSS and stock control experience
  • A willingness to assist in any area of the Pharmacy including dispensary, sales counter service, telephone service and store merchandising
  • Excellent problem-solving ability, time management skills, attention to detail
  • Ideally, you will have completed Cert III in Community Pharmacy
  • Experience with S2 and S3 medications advice and sales
  • Experience with Webster packing
  • Previous dispensing experience using MINFOS dispensing software (highly regarded)
