About the Role

A unique opportunity has become available to join our team as a full time time Dispense Technician at Terry White Chemist Pharmacy located in Centro Arndale at Kilkenny, South Australia.

 

This role provides a unique opportunity for the right person to develop their career and secure their future.

 

Working together with the Pharmacist in dispensary your main responsibilities will be to process patient information, dispense medication, reconcile prescriptions in preparation for government claims and assist in the process. You will help maintain dispensary stock levels and presentation and maintain dispensary information and preparing Webster Packs. You will also be required to receipt, unpack and check off dispensary orders and assist with Front of Shop sales and provide a high level of customer service.

 

Essential Requirements:

  • Experience with S2 & S3 medications
  • Experience with preparing Webster Packs
  • Likes to work in harmony and be an effective team player
  • Cert II and/or Cert III in Community Pharmacy

You will need the following attributes:

  • Have a passion for delivering excellent customer service
  • Have at least 2-3 years experience working as a Dispense Technician
  • MINFOS dispense experience will be highly regarded
  • Basic general knowledge of pharmacy products, services and practices
  • Is able to promote the Pharmacy as a centre for advice, assistance and information in areas of health and well-being                              
  • Have the ability to develop comprehensive product knowledge across a wide range of products
  • Has excellent computer skills and accurate data entry skills
  • Be willing to undertake continual training on an on-going basis on new and existing products to improve product knowledge
  • Be able to assist in any area of the Pharmacy including orders, front of shop, telephone enquiries and store merchandising
